Meet Kelly. I had so much fun photographing Kelly this past weekend. She was unbelievable prepared. I wish I would have taken a shot of the bag full of different outfits for this session. Her husband came along and was the best assistant I could have asked for.
When I heard she played tennis I knew I def wanted to show this side of her personality. She will be leaving soon for a few games she has coming up and I bet she will do incredibly well.

I had such a fantastic time working with Mildred last week. She is so natural in front of the camera and the camera loved her. We headed to one of my favorite locations to do some head shots for her acting portfolio. Her daughter came with us and I absolutely loved her. She assisted me by holding a reflector and was the best assistant ever.

This past weekend I spent a wonderful time in North Carolina reuniting with some wonderful friends I met through PW. So what is PW? PW is short for Pregnancy weekly , a website I joined in 2006 when I first found out I was pregnant. I joined the April 2007 birth club and never imagined I would become so close with some of the BEST girlfriends ever. These ladies have gone beyond the status of “Internet friends”. It’s probably hard for some people to understand how close you can be to someone you primarily talk to on the computer. We all shared our ups and downs that pregnancy brought us. We talked about all kind of topics. We laughed , we cried, we really enjoyed being there because so many of us kept coming back daily.
On April 30th I was still pregnant and no baby. I was sad that I was not going to be part of the April birth club but on the contrary, on May 1st when Diego was born my husband posted the news online and the love and feedback I felt from this group was more than what I could have asked for. It will be nice to win the lotto so we could all meet one day. I’m sure that even the moms I have not met in person they will be as awesome as I imagined.
I met Brandi in Raleigh for the first time and I felt like I have known her all this time. We had a really good time. I just wished I could have packed her and her beautiful kids in my suitcase and taken them back with me. Here’s a little slide show of Samuel and Eliana. (A few of Brandi too )
I’m sitting in my jammies going through a few shots that I am currently working on. Thanks to fellow photographer Lindsey Greene for organizing an All in one shoot. I love these shoots as they give me the opportunity to meet new and old online ‘friends’ that I’d been in contact with. I am honored to be part of an industry where we can do fun shootouts and support each other in this journey. Victoria was one of the models there and I was immediately captured by her smile and her beautiful eyes.
